There are several lines by More that merit mention but there is not enough space to do so. Here is one of the best: "I think that when statesmen forsake their own private conscience for the sake of their public duties, they lead their country by a short route to chaos." <a href=http://www.tulife.com/forum.php?...&tid=125019" rel="nofollow">http://www.tulife.com/forum.php?...&tid=125019 Enough carping. Miss Congeniality had a few good moments, but I would not watch it a second time. One real positive was the final still picture of Sandra Bullock at the end of the film锟絪he never looked better.
Eighth, the sound in the film was terrible. There were times when it was impossible to understand the dialog and, without this essential element, there is no way the film would be rated good by my standards. Sound is too basic of a need to succeed and, when it goes unnoticed because it is well done, it is not an issue. <a href=http://laobo.cc/home.php?mod=space&uid=137860" rel="nofollow">http://laobo.cc/home.php?mod=spa...&uid=137860 Sir Thomas More loses his head (no pun intended) but most importantly, not his soul. Sir Thomas is later canonized as Saint Thomas More by the Roman Catholic Church.
"Kingdom of Heaven" Sought to Be an Epic Film, But Became a Disaster in Production <a href=http://benefitshub.ca/member/309044" rel="nofollow">http://benefitshub.ca/member/309...a/member/309044 A Man for All Seasons does not deviate from the truth of Sir Thomas More's stance, and as such provides a role model for acting with right thinking and right motives, even at the cost of one's life.
"Lost in Translation" Makes the Meaning of Life Sound Elusive <a href=http://www.mavssweep.com/activity/p/11072/" rel="nofollow">http://www.mavssweep.com/activit...tivity/p/11072/ The reason is simple: you do not bring meaning to your life by seeking meaning in your life, you bring meaning to your life by giving meaning to your life. Life does not come to you, you come to life, or you become an unhappy, dissatisfied person.
"Miss Congeniality" had a real identity problem as a movie. Unfortunately for Sandra Bullock, the star of the film as FBI agent Gracie Hart, Miss Congeniality could not take her as far as her performance merited. <a href=http://www.cn-zsw.cn/home.php?mod=space&uid=97618" rel="nofollow">http://www.cn-zsw.cn/home.php?mo...e&uid=97618 What's not to like is this: People who seek true love seldom find it. People who seek the perfect mate never find the perfect mate. People who seek to find the true meaning of life seldom find it.
Lost in Translation ' 2 Stars (Average) <a href=http://www.dangyangqiao.com/home...e&uid=37987" rel="nofollow">http://www.dangyangqiao.com/home...e&uid=37987 Eighth, the sound in the film was terrible. Some of the things that are in the surroundings look as篓if it was not realistic and you
All of the landscapes were rich as can be in appearance and the animals looked as if they were fluid acros the screen as they moved. I wa贸 impressed also on how well Planet Earth was filmed with a HDTV$camera. <a href=http://vip.huayangauto.com/home....&uid=149264" rel="nofollow">http://vip.huayangauto.com/home....&uid=149264 The film also received Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actor (Robert Shaw) and Best Supporting Actress (Wendy Hiller as Sir Thomas More's wife Alice).
What makes A Man for All Seasons even more impressive is that the plot for the movie is based on the true story of Sir Thomas More. Sir Thomas More was a scholar and statesman who became the leading humanist of the Renaissance Era. <a href=http://www.talkingplates.com/activity/p/210770/" rel="nofollow">http://www.talkingplates.com/act...ivity/p/210770/ In his quest to be noble, Liam Neeson was able to deliver this dialog as Godfrey de Ibelin: "Be without fear in the face of our enemies. Be brave and upright that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong. That is your oath." (Spoken to his son, Balian, when making him a knight.)
